Results of WWE SmackDown 9 February 2024: Drew McIntyre Pins AJ Styles, Randy Orton Downs Sami Zayn

<p>On February 9, WWE’s most recent Friday Night SmackDown program aired. The Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina served as the venue for the weekly wrestling match. A handful of the men’s roster Elimination Chamber Qualifier Matches were included on the broadcast. Randy Orton faced Sami Zayn in the second qualifier of the evening, after AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre in the first. Women’s action was also shown on the broadcast, with Bianca Belair and Michin competing in a different qualification match. In a battle between the top contenders for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship, DIY and Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne, fans got to see some tag team action.</p>

<p><strong>AJ Styles vs. Drew McIntyre: Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualification Match</strong></p>
<p>Styles was forced into a corner by McIntyre, who then executed a chop. Styles kicked back before bringing down his chops. Following a few hits, Styles prepared for the incredible forearm but Knight stopped him. McIntyre was able to take advantage of this and hit the Claymore Kick to win.</p>
<p><strong>Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualification Match: Bianca Belair vs. Michin</strong></p>
<p>As soon as the bell rang, Belair hauled Michin up on her shoulders and searched for a KOD. Michin, nevertheless, managed to get away and kicked her opponent twice in the head. After some back-and-forth, Michin submitted Belair with a superplex before executing the Eat Defeat. After recovering, Belair used a back body drop to counter Michin and applied the KOD to end the fight.</p>
<p><strong>DIY vs Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate—the top contender match for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship</strong></p>
<p>The first few minutes of the match see Bate and Gargano trying to pin each other. Then, just before the commercial break, Ciampa kneed Dunne in the head. Returning to action, Ciampa delivered a clothesline to each of Dunne and Bate in the corner, then simultaneously landed another on them both. Later, Dunne used his right hand to catch Gargano and then the Bitter End to secure the victory.</p>
<p><strong>Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn: Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualification Match</strong></p>
<p>The bout started with a lock between Orton and Zayn. The Viper tackled his opponent’s shoulder. Before long, Zayn retaliated by landing a moonsault over the barrier into Orton. Following a commercial break, Orton gave Zayn a power slam before giving her the hanging DDT. Zayn attempted a rollup as the Viper readied himself for the RKO, then connected with a Blue Thunder Bomb. As Zayn attempted to utilize the ropes, Orton kicked out and then scored an RKO to win by pinfall.</p>
