In a Sapporo convenience shop in Japan, a guy with a knife murders one person

<p>Local media said that a guy attacked a convenience store employee and two other employees on Sunday in Sapporo, in the northernmost prefecture of Hokkaido, Japan. The employee died as a result.</p>

<p>The guy attacked customers at a Seicomart shop in Sapporo’s Kita Ward at around 6:50 a.m. local time, according to Kyodo News. He looked to be carrying a kitchen knife.</p>
<p>According to the story, the attacker was apprehended by police at the spot, and all three shop workers were sent to a hospital after suffering stab wounds.</p>
<p>A subsequent autopsy verified the 40-year-old employee’s death. A guy in his 60s and a lady in her 50s are the other two employees, according to the Xinhua news agency report.</p>
<p>Hirotaka Miyanishi, 43, an unemployed guy who lives in the same ward and has confessed to stabbing all three, was detained, according to the police.</p>
