Veteran RSS Worker and Social Servant Indra Bansal Passes Away in Agra

Agra, May 13: Senior member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and noted social worker, Mrs. Indra Bansal, passed away on Sunday morning, leaving behind a legacy of service and community leadership. She was also the founder of a prominent Dharamshala in the Kaila Devi area.

 

Her demise has cast a pall of grief across Agra’s social, religious, and business communities. A large number of people gathered at her residence in Vijay Nagar Colony to pay their last respects and offer condolences to the bereaved family.

 

Deeply influenced by the ideals of the RSS, Mrs. Bansal devoted her life to social service, discipline, and fostering community harmony. She remained actively involved in religious functions, charitable initiatives, and extending support to those in need. Through her dedicated role in managing the Kaila Devi Dharamshala, she earned immense respect and goodwill among local residents and social organisations.

 

Remembered by those close to her as a simple, spiritual, and compassionate individual, she was known for her empathetic nature and her ability to stand by people in both their joys and hardships. Her calm demeanor and affectionate personality made her widely respected across different sections of society.

 

Her son, Dr. Vijay Kishore Bansal, continues to carry forward her legacy of service. He has been actively engaged in supporting gaushalas, assisting educational institutions associated with the RSS, and contributing to various community welfare initiatives. Family members noted that his commitment to public service has been deeply inspired by his mother’s values and teachings.

 

Her last rites were performed on Sunday evening at the Tajganj Electric Crematorium in the presence of family members, relatives, social workers, and several prominent citizens. A condolence meeting held on Monday at Samadhi Park in Surya Nagar, Khandari, saw a large gathering of people who paid tribute to her life and contributions.

 

She is survived by her husband Giriraj Kishore Bansal, son Dr. Vijay Kishore Bansal and daughter-in-law Dolly Bansal, daughters Poonam Agrawal, Ritu Prakash, and Rekha Agrawal, along with other family members.

 

Several social organisations and prominent citizens described her passing as an irreparable loss to the community, noting that her life of service, strong values, and humanitarian spirit will continue to inspire generations to come.
